How to Activate Mobile Hotspot on Motorola One Action?
Follow the steps below to enable a Mobile Hotspot to share your internet connection with other devices by using your Motorola One Action.
- Go to Settings menu.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
- Tap the switch next to Mobile Hotspot to activate.
The Mobile Hotspot icon will appears on the status bar of your Motorola One Action. On the other device's screen, search for and select your hotspot from the Wi-Fi networks list.
How to Configure Mobile Hotspot on Motorola One Action?
Follow the steps below to use and configure a Mobile Hotspot. You can configure the Network name, Security level, Password and Band you share.
Prevent strangers from using your Mobile Hotspot by setting a password on your Motorola One Action network.
- Go to Settings menu.
- Tap Connections.
- Open the Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
- Tap Mobile Hotspot.
- Tap Configure.
- Set the Network name, Security, Password, or Band.
Your Motorola One Action has been configured now for using as a Portable Hotspot. On the other device's screen, search for and select your hotspot from the Wi-Fi networks list.
How to Connect Your Motorola One Action Mobile Hotspot?
Follow the steps below to connect a Mobile Hotspot you created with your Motorola One Action device.
- Open the device's list of Wi-Fi Options.
- Pick your smartphone's Hotspot Name.
- Enter your Mobile Hotspot Password.
- Click Connect.
You can share your Motorola One Action's mobile data with up to 10 other devices via a Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Timeout Settings for Mobile Hotspot
Keeping your Mobile Hotspot active may drain the battery faster. You can use Timeout settings to automatically turn off your Mobile Hotspot, if no one is using it.
Follow the steps below to set a Mobile Hotspot to turn off automatically on your Motorola One Action.
- Go to Settings menu.
- Tap Connections.
- Open the Mobile Hotspot and Tethering.
- Tap Mobile Hotspot.
- Tap Configure in the Mobile Hotspot menu.
- Tap Advanced to view the rest of the options.
- Tap Turn off when no device connected for.
- Select the desired amount of time before the Mobile Hotspot turns off.
